Police were called to a six-vehicle collision on the A66, near to the Brigham turnoff, at 10.57am today ( July 13 ). It involved two coaches, one van and three cars. The driver of one of the coaches involved, a man, was taken by helicopter to Royal Preston Hospital with serious injuries. Any witnesses, or anyone who has relavent dash cam footage, can contact police on 101, referring to incident 78 of July 13.
UPDATE: A66 collision
Authorities responded to a six-vehicle accident on the A66 close to the Brigham turnoff at 10:57 AM today, July 13. The incident included two coaches, a van, and three cars. A male coach driver was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
